and the summer ends...

Summertime. I used to enjoy it alot more. Maybe because I was younger, had more energy, and didn't have a job that ran me into the ground during the hottest time of the year. But it's gone and time for SP to get a little relax time. Of course, part of the reason I'm tired is of all the concerts I go to. Kicked of the summer off with Def Leppard and Journey at the Tweeter and closed it with Aerosmith and Motley Crue at the Tweeter. Two good shows with quality rock and roll bands.

All of them were good. Def Leppard obviously being the best. The Crue putting on a great stage show and sounded good except for Vince Neil's voice being shot. Journey, well no Steve Perry so it just isn't the same. And finally Aerosmith, sounded great, but... now I'm big into the 70's stuff and they played plenty of it... Mama Kin, Sweet Emotion, Dream On, Train Kept A Rollin', and Walk This Way. Cryin from the 90's and four or five songs I had no idea. Some from that blues record. Tyler came out and said we're playing the hits. Not true. If this was someone's first Aerosmith show, they had to be a bit disappointed.

Anyway, still a few shows left... Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, and Joan Jett on the way. Rock on...
