The Year in Music...

... according to Sean Patrick. So, 2006 comes to a close and I feel like talking about music. There were some really good records released in 2006. Here are some of my favs...

1. Butch Walker and the Lets Go Out Tonites - The Rise and Fall of Butch Walker and the Lets Go Out Tonites
2. Damone - Out Here All Night
3. Def Leppard - Yeah!
4. Audioslave - Revelations
5. Hinder - Extreme Behavior (released in '05, but who knew?)
6. Joan Jett - Sinner
7. Jet - Shine On
8. System of a Down - Memorize
9. Tom Petty - Highway Companion
10. Foo Fighters - Skin and Bones

That was my favs of 2006. Concerts you ask? Okay, here are some of my favs of '06

1. Def Leppard - June at the Tweeter Center in Camden
2. Damone - June somewhere at the Jersey Shore - can't remember - but it rocked!
3. Heart - July at Trump Marina in Atlantic City
4. Def Leppard - July at Borgata in Atlantic City
5. Butch Walker/Damone - February at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC
6. Butch Walker - July at the TLA in Philly
7. System of a Down - Ozzfest in August at the Tweeter Center in Camden
8. Foo Fighters - August at Borgata in Atlantic City
9. Def Leppard - September at Borgata in Atlantic City
10. Lionel Richie - October at Borgata in Atlantic City (yeah, that's right Lionel F'ing Richie)

Some others that were good also - Nickelback at Citizen's Bank Park in Philly in July... Rob Zombie in March at the Electric Factory in Philly and also at the Tweeter Center in Camden in September... Cheap Trick at Borgata in June was really good too.

Saw Bon Jovi twice and they completely bored me. Motley Crue at the Tweeter Center in September was horrible, which is not like them. Ozzy Osbourne at Ozzfest in August, simply bad. Godsmack in September, god awful.

There you have it. Music and Concerts 2006... according to Sean Patrick

Rock on in 2007
