Heartbreaking

LA Angels rookie pitcher Nick Adenhart killed by a hit and run after debut in the majors in front of his father. Only 22 and fought to make the big leagues after surgery. Two others were killed as well. The hit and run driver was only 22, drunk, and driving on a suspended license because of, you guessed it, drunk driving. Literally sick to my stomach as I type this. Adenhart's father stood alone on the pitchers mound this afternoon in an empty stadium. Angels cancelled their game against the A's. Prayers to all involved and their loved ones.
