Motley Crue - Saints of Los Angeles
The Crue record with all 4 original members since 1997's Generation Swine. It was well worth the wait. Loosely based on their book The Dirt, Saints of Los Angeles is one part rock... one part punk... one part metal. Just a great rock and roll record. Each song tells a tale of the Sunset Strip in the 80's. Sex, Drugs, and well yes, rock and roll. Add in a few f bombs and you have Saints of Los Angeles. Can't wait to hear some of the new tunes at CrueFest. I like every song, but a few stand outs are... Down At the Whiskey... The Animal In Me... White Trash Circus... and the title track. Rock on...

Greatest Concerts
I had a caller on the Workforce Lunch about a week ago wondering what were some of the greatest concerts I've seen. I named a few, but told him that I would post a blog in a few days and list ten, in no order. It took me awhile to think back to all fo the shows I went to. I'm nearing 200 at this point since '87. I think I came up with ten. Again, no real order except it's the ten I feel were the best I've attended...
Butch Walker/Damone - New York City - Bowery Ballroom - 2005
Def Leppard - New York City - Irving Plaza - 2002
Bon Jovi/Cinderella - Philly - Spectrum - 1987 (my first concert ever)
Stone Temple Pilots - Latrobe, PA - Rolling Rock Town Fair - 2001
Foo Fighters - Philly - Spectrum - 2008
Def Leppard - New York City - Beacon Theater - 2003
Butch Walker - Philly - TLA - 2006
Van Halen - Philly - Wachovia Center - 2004
Def Leppard/Tesla - Philly - Spectrum - 1987
System of a Down - Camden - Tweeter Center - Ozzfest - 2002
and ten more I couldn't leave out...
Def Leppard - Allentown - Fairgrounds - 1999
Stone Temple Pilots - Philly - Spectrum - 1996
Audioslave - Camden - Tweeter Center - 2003
Motley Crue/Cheap Trick - Philly - Spectrum - 1997
Poison/Cinderella/Dokken/Slaughter - Wilmington, DE - KahunaVille - 2000
Scorpions/Alice Cooper - Camden - Tweeter Center - 1996
Matchbox 20/Train - Camden - Tweeter Center - 2000?
Billy Joel - Philly - Wachovia Center - 2005
Van Halen - Philly - Wachovia Center - 2007
Tom Petty/Black Crowes - Camden - Tweeter Center - 2005
and these artists weren't so bad either...
The Darkness, Buckcherry, Warrant, Velvet Revolver, Metallica, Sheryl Crow, Bryan Adams, Skid Row, Veruca Salt, Bush, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Korn, Rob Zombie, Kid Rock, Airbourne, Nickelback, Seether, Cheap Trick, 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, Joan Jett, and Heart.
Just too much many. But I can name a few artists that I thought totally sucked...
Third Eye Blind, Crazytown, ZZ Top, The Unband, and Tripping Daisy.
I guess I listed more then ten. Lots of shows. And more to come. Iron Maiden next...

THUNDERBOLT RACEWAY
I had the pleasure of taking a tour of the new Thunderbolt Raceway in Millville. I was blown away. I grew up in Millville and to see the progress the city has made in the past few years is amazing. Thunderbolt Raceway at New Jersey Motorsports Park is simply amazing. I'm not the biggest racing fan, but this is an experience for racing fans or just someone looking for a great time. I fully expect to become a racing fan once I spend a day there. From the tracks to the Villas to the soccer complex to the Condos to the go kart tracks and so much more. It's huge and so much is going on. I can't wait to see the fully completed project. Visit njmp.com and tour the website. The raceway opens in July. It will be a great time for race fans, families, just about anyone. See ya at the races...
