Boy, is it cold!!!

Lets face it, the only thing good about the winter time is Christmas. After that, winter completely sucks. Don't believe me. Here are a few reasons why?

*New Year's Eve - always a headache. can't be with everyone. friends and family get mad. WTF? Happy New Year my ass.
*The Grammys - listen, my musical tastes aren't the greatest, but when like, one band I like gets nominated and no one I like performs, something is wrong. And I love Def Leppard. 60 million other people do too (album sales). Not one Grammy nod every!!! Not one. F' the Grammys. If you're name isn't Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, or Bob Dylan, you don't get nominated.
*My knees. I'm 30 and I have arthritis in my right knee, followed by more in my left. Cold weather makes it feel like I have little hammers, sometimes big hammers, slamming into my knees. Sounds fun doesn't it.
*No basketball - no fun!
*Ice on my car - the last thing I want to do is scrape ice off my car in the morning. ahhhhg.
*Heating bill - December thru March kills me.

Just a few reasons why I hate winter. I'm sure I have more reasons. And maybe I'll share at a later date. Just me bitchin' cause, well, I'm good at it. SP

Inside my Head

So, how's it going. I was wondering how many people actually read this? 1... 10... 1000... 1,ooo,ooo!!! I'd like to think the latter. But lets be serious. I'm not that interesting. Hopefully, whoever reads my blog enjoys and maybe sometime, I strike a nerve of laughter, anger, or whatever it makes you feel.

Checked out the Bangles last Friday night. Pretty good, Nothing special, but a solid show. Above is Suzanna Hoffs. One of my first crushes back in the 80's. She's 48 now and I still have a crush. Damn she's hot. Bryan Adams the week before. My lady got to sing onstage with BA and we also met him before the show. Couple of kisses. A few hugs. Slapping of the ass. More hugs. And then he said hi to her. HaHaHa. Seriously, super nice guy. And a thrilled for my love. Good night. Good times.

Checking some movies lately. We Are Marshall... very good. Babel... not really sure. But I know it was not better than The Departed to win the Globe. Half Nelson... I think I'm still asleep from that movie.

What do the Eagles do? Five wins in a row. Home playoff victory against the New York Football Giants. And now they're getting ready for a battle against the New Orleans Saints. Can Westbrook continue his amazing play? Can Garcia keep playing great? Can the Defense stop the high flying Saints offense? These questions will be answered Saturday night. Should be a great game!!!

2007?

That's right, 2007!!! I feel like I was just celebrating the coming of the year 2000!!! Time does fly. Another year and another digit. Hope 2006 was good for you... and if not, I hope 2007 is better for ya!!!

Few things to pass on...

The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith. Awesome. Sad. Touching. Made me feel lazy. Such a great movie. Check out it. Made me think what am I doing with my life?

Blood Diamond with Leo and few other famous peeps. If you're going to buy a diamond, watch this movie first. Another moving movie. Really, really good. Don't miss this one either.

Rocky Balboa with Sly Stallone. Not bad. Not great. But it finalizes the Rocky pictures. Now we wait for the final Rambo flick. Yippie. Wait to rent Rocky Balboa, but definitely check it out.

What is going on in music. Honestly not much. New Def Leppard is promised by June '07. I doubt it, but I can hope. New Velvet Revolver should be out sometime in the Spring. GnR? Who knows. Who cares. Can't think of anything else coming out that interests me.
