New Buckcherry

Check out the artwork for the new Buckcherry record... Black Butterfly. Saw them at CrueFest a few weeks back. Great show. They played a new track from the record "Too Drunk...". The new record drops on September 16th.

3 Doors/Staind

Had a chance to see the 3 Doors Down, Staind, and Hinder show in Camden on Saturday night. Lots of fun. Hinder was good, a bit loud, but fun. Staind is such a solid live band. 3 Doors is tight and sounds good as ever. But the highlight was hanging with the bands before the show. Aaron Lewis actually smiles and was such a nice guy. 3 Doors hasn't changed since I first met them in 2000. Frontman Brad Arnold talked to us for a half hour. I even found out that the Pour Some Sugar On Me video is what made him want to be a rock star. And a big thanks to Phin, 3 Doors manager. He set it all up and is the greatest guy. Even took us up in the sound booth to watch 3 Doors. Fun times...

Wow. Believe the hype. It's as good as everyone says. Maybe better. Heath Ledger is amazing. The whole cast is dead on. Wait til you see the Two Face makeup on Aaron Eckhart. See this movie. See it again. And maybe again. A+++++++

What Up South Jersey?

Met some interesting and well, drunk ZXL listeners at Jr's Tavern in Somers Point on Thursday. Hosted a party, gave away a ton of stuff, and enjoyed some wings with my boys Mark and Dan.

Lets see. Went to the Phillies game last night. Exciting 9th inning win over the Mets. Way too many Mets fans at Citizens Bank. All the more fun though when the Phils beat them down. 1st place in July. Go figure?

CrueFest next Saturday. Very siked. The Crue, Buckcherry, and Sixx AM. Lots of beer. Good times.
